Here are some screens from my recently completed regional flight between Oslo and Riga, served by Air Baltic and the Q400 turboprop

1] One of the best moments as a simmer: Lining up onto the departure runway. In this case ENGM 01R

 

2] The office. Take-off mass is roughly 27 metric tonnes

 

3] Climbing on the MASEV 6 Bravo SID. The two P&W150A engines and their large six-blade props offer crazy torque on command.

 

4] Enroute to Latvia. 

 

5] The HUD on the Q400. Allows hand-flown CATIIIA approaches if so wish. This won't be necessary today. The weather in Riga is more than ok.

 

6] Leaving FL250 for FL070 on LAPSA 6 Alpha arrival for runway 18.

 

7] Passenger view.

 

8] LOC captured. Planned FLAPS 15 landing

 

9] Approach view (the q400 is quite weird when you pause the sim; the IVSI gives faulty indications. I am not climbing 400ft.)

11] Touching down on the runway. Roughly 90 minutes since our departure from Oslo.

 

12] Pax have disembarked and the crew are doing the paper excercise. Thanks for looking!

There used to be a payware Riga scenery but it is gone. Too bad. Great screenshots love the Q400!

The Q400 is indeed a fabulous little plane, bu eagerly awaiting Majestics Dash 8-300!
