FSX Realistic sunset approach and landing (Window view)

It's been a long time since I made a proper window view video and I've finally produced a stunningly realistic sunset landing video.
 
Please note the lens flare and window were composited in post-production using Adobe After Effects.

Great video!

 

The sky colors and clouds are stunning. Flying wasn't too bad either  :P  :P

As my son said as he was looking over my shoulder watching...

 

"Wow...the graphics are amaaaaziinnnng."

 

What bloom settings and LOD radius are you using there?  I like cranking bloom up some near sundown and at night. 

 

One thing I wish is that we could get an atmospheric shimmer in the sim for distant lights.

Have you tried ENVTEX?  Good things happening there.

Have you tried ENVTEX?  Good things happening there.

I create my own sky textures I dont need to buy ENVTEX :)
