January 18, 20179 yr Sometimes the moon phase is just right, and you're flying at just the right time to get a shot like this.... Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
January 18, 20179 yr Great shot! As soon as I seen it, I wanted to sing... "You might think it's goofy, but the man in the moon is a Newfie" (Stompin' Tom Connors... a legend!) Jd
January 18, 20179 yr You can always catch the prettiest moons over Europe, I guessed it because of the beautiful livery. LOL, just kidding, but a very beautiful shot indeed. Aaron Tirrell

January 18, 20179 yr Author Thanks guys! If you told me 10 years ago I'd have 4 flightsim platforms to fly on, I'd call you crazy! This shot was from P3d, but FSX with Steve's DX fixer yields stunning shots as well, and I'm just getting into XP10/11 (have both) and AeroFly 2, which we've seen produce beautiful results as well. The real issue now is finding time to enjoy them all....along with painting which takes a big chunk of my free time. I flew around in AeroFly 2 with metal paint of the P-38 on a moonlit night last night...simply marveling at the lighting, I was almost moved to tears it was so beautiful as the moonlight glinted off the fuse as I was banking and making tight turns. My sense of time was such that I felt I was only in the sim for moments....2.5 hours later I'm actually checking the clocks as I can't believe how fast that time passed by. I say a time machine was invented long ago...its called a flight simulator! It has never been a better "time" to be a simmer! (pun intended) EDIT: 5 sims if you include DCS, which I have and its gorgeous as well, but have not had the time to get into it. :( Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
