ActiveSky V6 customer support

Featured Replies

I can't tell you why, becuase I've been told not to, but but I just want to say to those you having trouble downloading this product - obviously due to the intense demand - that if the product turns out to be as good as the customer support behind the scenes, then it's going to be very very good indeed.Don't imagine for a minute that there aren't people out there watching the situation and trying their best to make it work.Full marks to HiFiSim and JS Korna in particular.

Yeah, the product is one thing, and I hope it's good, at an initial look it looks great, but I have to say - never mind the product - the customer care here was beyond the call of duty.I'm not often wrong (so people agree when I tell them, or at least I think they do), so if I'm impressed, I felt impelled to give praise where praise is due. And I'm not easy to impress, but I was. And that's rare.Bu&L$h1t aside, can't speak too highly.

Thanks for the comments, we appreciate it!!!Best,

Can't argue with anything said here. Hifi customer support has always been top notch. Can't believe Damian got us a fix for the active radar problem in less than 24 hours. Now that is service. :)KP

What active radar problem? I don't use it (AR) too much, so perhaps I missed something.Anyhow, yes! Damian and Chris have done a wonderful job on this new version (ASv6). Damian always manages to work his magic and overcome the obstacles the sim presents in the way it renders weather. The amount of updates and time he spends getting it right proves he's a very valuable member of our community. That, along with Jim's support has made Active Sky the best in the business.

The entire HiFi team has been nothing less than spectacular when it comes to product improvement and customer support. Ever since my first purchase of AS2004.5 and the

With this version, the top half of my screen has never looked better or more realistic. I've also picked up significant fps in heavy weather situations, and the magic is under the hood because the improvements hold when using FE textures as well. Many thanks HiFi for this free upgrade.

I particularly liked that"DUCK PRESSURE LOW" on the EICAS.... :-)

I've been meaning to ask this for some time now, so I guess I'll use this thread. I'm a current owner of Flight One's Flight Environment and Active Sky 2004.5. Now, I'm not a really stickler on weather and most of the time for a quick flight, I just reduce the visibility down to 20 miles and fly. To anyone that has owned that combo previously, and now has ASV or 6, is it a notable difference. I buy plenty of addons, I just want to pay for the same result twice. Thanks in advanceDave

Congrats, Damian. Maybe I'll find a copy in the MSFT stocking when I get back. I'd love to see what you've done. -mike
