Ready to take off in the old girl from Malaga airport

Although the scenery is “only” 2m per pixel, it’s actually pretty good

Gibraltar comes into sight

You can clearly see where the photoscenery ends and AS Gibraltar starts

Now it’s on to Morocco

It’s just a short hop across the Strait of Gibraltar

The European photoscenery stretches also a bit into Morocco

Maybe the developer had anticipated such flights across the Strait

Did you really downlaod all the tiles individually? By clicking on the map? :O

Yes I did. Downloading was the easy part, as you just have to click and wait. The more tedious job, which took me over two weeks, was to install all of them individually. With many breaks of course. And I only did Germany (80 GB) and some selected areas around the Mediterranean. But this is all forgotten now. Now I can enjoy flying over photoreal Germany or over the Baleares or some Greek islands and most of it with autogen. Love it and don't forget: it's all free! So, I didn't complain

I don't know, I rarely fly at night, so I haven't done that yet

Bernd, that phototerrain of Spain and around Gibraltar strait is just great. Are sure you weren't too fast to enjoy it with that plane?

Extraordinary screen shots, as close to realism as I've seen.
