Water operations are still broken and useless in XP11 B14.  IF..you can land...once upon the water, you can't generate more than 30 knots even into the wind (at full throttle) for take off with the default amphib. I have Visual Effects now at medium. Also, wakes are now white blocks, and broken as well.

Post Edit: Found the wave heights under weather.  Put them to zero.  Started a water roll...and could not generate more than 27 knots.  Could not take off off of water...no rotation speed obtained.  Frankly, this sucks. Water operations are a big thing to my flight simming.

HI Mitch, I am not having this problem - one notch of flaps and 55 knots and I'm in the air even with a few waves.

Wake is broken though - as you say white blocks.

cheers

Good to read...but I can't generate 30 knots even with no flaps running into the wind...

Beautiful screen shot!

boost the ambient gain on the clouds and it'll be perfect. :)

Origin EON-17SLX - Under the hood: Intel Core i7 7700K at 4.2GHz (Base) 4.6GHz (overclock), nVidia GeForce GTX-1080 Pascal w/8gb vram, 32gb (2x16) Crucial 2400mhz RAM, 3840 x 2160 17.3" IPS w/G-SYNC, Samsung 950 EVO 256GB PCIe m.2 SSD (Primary), Samsung 850 EVO 500gb M.2 (Sim Drive), MS Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit

I can with the HU-16 Albatros without problem.

I'm getting the feeling that XP11 will separate the men from the boys.  On my LAPTOP, I get 40's in the FF A350.  With the default C172, C90 and B58...50's across the board.  I use the default weather more than ever now with the cloud fixes they implemented.  I have custom airports and AIPilot's HD Mesh v3 running.  I can't ask for a better simulator at this point.  My only hope they don't noz something up later. lol
