In between pauses the sim runs fine and it ran fine before PB 14. Submitted bug report, will hope for the best. I would not take the Threaded Optimization On/Off setting as scripture. I think it was a mistake to pin that to the forum. This can be compared to the use of Affinity Mask in other sims, and how some swore up and down it was necessary, when in fact it was dependent on the individual user's system. Case in point, the TO setting may help, but that's as far as it should have gone. I have said before that as we draw to a close on the Beta phase, this sim will separate the men from the boys, in that textures are being looked at more now, and rendering capabilities and optimizations are being conducted, so if you are finding that in one beta, everything was fine and now it's different, you will need to start paying closer attention to your settings. i would follow the same mantra as was done with FSX and P3D, in that, you start your settings low and work your way up, paying close attention to your cpu and gpu limits and not so much about the fps count, as that is a direct result of the limits. This video is a good reference point, as there are good explanations, as well as suggestions to making X-Plane really look good and perform well: https://youtu.be/mljKJnZeALM?list=PLD5tfPZ-yvDXy3xIjAptn_7kxlYm17OWF Engage, research, inform and make your posts count! -Jim Morvay Origin EON-17SLX - Under the hood: Intel Core i7 7700K at 4.2GHz (Base) 4.6GHz (overclock), nVidia GeForce GTX-1080 Pascal w/8gb vram, 32gb (2x16) Crucial 2400mhz RAM, 3840 x 2160 17.3" IPS w/G-SYNC, Samsung 950 EVO 256GB PCIe m.2 SSD (Primary), Samsung 850 EVO 500gb M.2 (Sim Drive), MS Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit

Stick with XP10 for now. .there is a Beta and there is a BETA ...... very illusive definition ..... lol XP11 is my first encounter with X-plane, after about 10 years I decided to abandon FSX, which in my opinion, came to a dead end, and with all the bugs and whatever is going on with XP11 I'll stick with it and pray for good .... just found out that deleting the "Preferences retained my Frame back .... still blurs shimming and lot of other stuff /bugs but we back in the air, for now ! I make sure I keep a copy of the joystick & key preferences so I do not have to re assign all my controllers Done, and though, graphic is kind of poor, shimming and blur, but I gained back my frames Tnx for the tip

I'd been using default clouds through the betas, and with the release of PB15, the cloud rendering did change, and after one little tweak to the art datarefs, they still don't look like the ones in the video. Those could be SMP, or at the very least, a custom cloud texture. Don't get me wrong, they still look good though. Go below that for non-HDR graphics and the moon is there. It's a known bug that should be fixed before release.
