April 4, 200620 yr The easiest thing to do is do program a hotkey from within the Track IR program to "freeze" the panel. When your done simply unfreeze. It's virtually impossible to keep your head still long enough to do so. Works great for me. Hope this helps. Craig
April 4, 200620 yr How did you map the buttons to the CH Yoke?Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
April 4, 200620 yr I'm using a Microsoft Intellimouse wireless and I have Track IR programmed to "freeze" or Pause the motion by depressing or pushing the scroll wheel and it works great. Craig
April 4, 200620 yr What would be cool would be a mouse mode for FS to map mouse movements in VC to the 3D space of the plane, so even if you move your head, the mouse stays in place on the panel. I'm thinking it would automatically snap to surfaces. Obviously an out there solution, but it might work :)Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
April 5, 200620 yr Your going to operate the switches using the mouse. All you need to do is to assign the wheel (Mouse 3) button to 'Pause' and your view will stay where you paused it until your ready to revert back to normal.Works fine for me.....................Dave T. .........On the Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/http://www.captainsim.com/user/dl/c130/c130_captain.gif Dave Taylor
April 5, 200620 yr John, If you read the manual (I can say this as I am as guilty as the next guy for jumping in and using a product and reading the manual later) You will see that you can program "hot" keys that will allow you to both adjust for fine movement as well as allowing you to "freeze" the VC in order to flip switches and rotate knobs easily. You can do this from within the Track IR interface. Craig
April 6, 200620 yr What manual?:(Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
April 6, 200620 yr Can anoyone share his Track IR 4 profile? I'm having a hard time too but I love the product. I got a lot of hints from you guys and I really appreciate it. John Sark
April 6, 200620 yr The users manual that is bundled with the software. It can be accessed from within the program as well.
