April 6, 20179 yr Hi, Where can I source GFP flight plans, or convert FMS (or similar) flight plans to the GFP format? Thanks.
April 7, 20179 yr Seems like it's not a difficult format to make. Maybe Flight Plan Go would implement it if you ask... April 8, 20179 yr I'm pretty sure that you can use the .fpl export in something like skyvector. You'll get a .fpl file (which works with the GNS units). I think if you change the file extension to .gfp it will work in the GTN units. I'm away from my sim for a month, or I'd give it a try myself :) I'd be interested to hear if it works however. April 8, 20179 yr .gfp and .fpl are different formats. .fpl store data with xml tags. Quite easy to figure out. .gfp is a one-liner flight plan format, documentation for the format is included in the GTN flight plan/user wpt sample pack!
April 9, 20179 yr Author Thanks for the info, looks like the easiest way would be to convert a text file to the GFP format.
