March 24, 200620 yr For me, Milton Shupe and company's Howard 500 is the winner in this category. I can almost feel those big engines rattle the room, in fact, if I turn the volume up they do just that. When I feel a bit more modern I love the Aeroworx B200.AT

I have 'em all and fly 'em all, frequently. And yep, I love those big enjines also; crank up the volume, Harry!:D(Aside) Got my BAC 1-11. Now to see how it flies. My favorite planes are the ones which FEEL like I want to fly 'em. I've bought several that I never use; they just don't fly (handle) like I like to work them.:D

March 24, 200620 yr what did you download? Was it just the airfile updates for the defualt 172? I'm pretty sure there were '04 versions of those. But really if you're just downloading the freebies you aren't experiencing even 10% of what makes the new full package add-ons great (aside from the great FMs, the nifty Realview feature, and the superb models and texuring, the really big development RA has basically pioneered with their releases since the Spitfire is the way the VC gauges are designed - they have eliminated the stuttery VC gauges of old. The RA vc gauges are flawlessly smooth - as smooth as the best 2D panels - which makes flying in the VC a pure joy.)
March 25, 200620 yr Re:Realaire, I must habe downloaded the freebies, will have to find their site and see what eles they have, sounds like a good set of planes with good VC, trying to hold back on the Tracker4, but sounds like it is needed.........RRL

March 25, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi Peter,The Pro Edition is the module that you are interested in. It is worth every penny from a "Professional Perspective". The 2D panel gauges have been reworked based on the original panel bitmap. As far as flight dynamics are concerned, it has been tested by a team of Dash 8 professionals (Pilots, technical personnel, and flight dispatchers). There has been almost 4 yers of R&D put into this project to make it what it is today, and work is constantly being done to make sure the customer is always satisfied. The FMS is the last thing that needs to be completly finished. It is useable, but needs some more functionality added to it.The Corporate edition is used by some airlines as a supplemental training device for pilots before going into the Simulator for CQ training.I hope this is of some help to you, if you need more assistance feel free to drop in on the website www.majesticsoftware.com or send an email to [email protected] (Kilo_Whiskey) KROSWYND a.k.a KILO_WHISKEYMajestic Software Development/Support Sys 1: AMD 7950X3D, NOCTUA D15S, Gigabyte Elite B650, MSI 4090, 64Gb Ram, Corsair 850 Power Supply, 2x2TB M.2 Samsung 980s, 1x4TB WDD M.2, 6xNoctua 120mm case fans, LG C2 55" OLED running at 120Hz for the monitor, Win11. March 25, 200620 yr If you're interested in David Maltby's Bac1-11, can I be suggest checking out the Trident as well. I've had that one for..maybe 6 months and just today downloaded the 1-11....love them both...
March 25, 200620 yr Thank you for the link to RealAir, I downloaded the c172 and it is really very realistic!! Sounds, control, etc. Great Bought the Spitfire some time back, but was not familiar enough with FS to use it properly, will have to go back and revisit............Now I am even more confused over which of the many great planes to use when I have an hour or two...thanks again, RRL
