July 28, 20178 yr Where's a (not so) friendly Great White shark when you need it? I wonder if this has been sent to AmeriJet? July 28, 20178 yr What a moron. Whilst I suspect that there was probably not much danger of it damaging the aircraft significantly, it is obviously not beyond the realms of possibility thsy it could have done so. With that in mind, I think the authorities at the airport should be making strenuous efforts to identify the person and to prosecute them for potentially endangering the lives of all the passengers and crew, hopefully leading to the person getting a custodial sentence, so it discourages others from being so idiotically dangerous. July 28, 20178 yr Moderator If the ball had been ingested by the engine, the possibility of a catastrophic event is there. We all have heard of birds being ingested with no issues and birds causing with engine failure. Whether possible or probable, it is flat out stupid and dangerous and I hope they ultimately catch up to that bozo. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
July 31, 20178 yr After that woman died a couple of weeks ago, this is basically just giving the government a perfect excuse to shut the beach down. What a joke. Best regards, Neal McCullough
