August 10, 20178 yr I would just like to get a good explanation of exactly what Black Marble (and Blue Marble) really is. I'm a little confused from looking at the website. And what exactly are you getting with the subscription? Robert Yunque PilotEdge Ratings = CAT-11 (2016-09-13) I-11 (2016-10-23) V-3 (2016-08-01)

I think I, finally, get what these products do, and how they complement each other. I asked a question on the other thread and thought I'd ask it here: Does Black Marble show lights further in the distance? E.g. if you're flying off the coast, do they make the lights visible further out...like 10 miles? On a clear night down low, you should be able to see 20-30 miles or more depending on conditions.
