I could've waited to respond until after I found the specific information for you. The error in the log shows that there's something preventing access to the file. Are you using any non-windows firewalls? I'm assuming you're in Greece? What country are you trying to download from? Yes, Greece from country's major ISP (Cosmote) on a VDSL line giving 48Mbps download and without ANY firewall custom rules (against PMDG) or antivirus on that PC. Only Windows Defender (or whatever its called) of Windows10 but it never gave me a warning or similar error in PMDG updater and all other updates until now for the B744 and B738. They went through normally so it is something specific onny to the B737-600/700 update. September 23, 20178 yr I forgot to mention when the update came out my P3Dv3 was on the Windows 10 drive on my computer. Now that everything I normally use is v4 compliant I have moved fully to v4 as my primary sim so for simplicity I uninstalled v3 from the Win 10 drive and reinstalled everything on my Win 7 drive. When it was on the Win 10 drive the update worked normally. After the installation on the Win 7 drive I started having this problem. I don't know if location would make a difference between the operating systems but I submitted a ticket with this information anyway. Tom Landry

September 27, 20178 yr Downloading the installer you get an update it is version 1.20.8414 (informed by readme.txt) but Win 10/control Pane/programs gives 1.20.8413 Operations center is offering another update version 1.20.8443 buy it seems to be corrupted. Didn't work correctly. I will try again. Is PMDG planning to offer the version 1.20.8443 by means of installer download? Thanks
September 27, 20178 yr Commercial Member 5 hours ago, JulioBG said: Operations center is offering another update version 1.20.8443 buy it seems to be corrupted. This is not quite possible. The hash of every single file in the update is checked upon download, prior to copying over into the sim. So, if there is corruption, it is being caused by an anti-virus program on your computer, or some other sort of interference...else, everyone would be reporting this issue. 5 hours ago, JulioBG said: Is PMDG planning to offer the version 1.20.8443 by means of installer download? We periodically update the full installer, yes. However, for now, re-download the full installer, uninstall the version on your comp, and then install using the newly-downloaded installer. After that, try the update. Kyle Rodgers

As I mentioned to the last person, we really need people to provide as much information as possible. It's much better to try to bury us in relevant information than to have us try and play 20 questions with you. As far as your issue goes, though, if you're still on 1.0, of course it's not going to update. You're on a version that's several years old now. If you purchased from us directly, log in, re-download your installer, uninstall the version on your computer, and then reinstall. After that, try the update. If you have a CD/DVD version, download the update from support.aerosoft.com, uninstall the version on your machine, install the version from the downloaded installer only (do not install anything from the CD/DVD anymore), and then try the update. September 27, 20178 yr FYI I ended up doing what you recommended. Summary > uninstall >download recent installer>install it> update by means of operations center> erase FSUIPC5.INI, > P3D using 737 PMDG is working properly. Notice that installer information is wrong. After installation you really get the 1.20.8413 and no 1.208414 as mentioned in the file.txt In the file readme.txt you inform it is 1.20.8414. = (PMDG 737-800/900NGX for Prepar3D VERSION v1.20.8414) If you check properties into the file installer you will see it is 1.20.8413. Anyway it is working well now. I seems that FSUIPC5.INI was causing problems. Thanks Julio
