A2A C182 with RXP GTN 750 (resolved)

Featured Replies

I followed Nirgal's instructions for the 182 and ended up with a system that displays correctly; however, the autopilot in the 182 fails to follow the GPS guidance.  It just turns the plane north to a track of ~005 and locks it there.  I've tried this at several locations and I get the same results.

Didn't try autopilot into A2A C182 but it works fine into A2A C172 (and into Realair Duke.B60 with GNS V2)

I will try tomorrow.C182 with GTN

Hi,

Can you look at the content of your RXP GTN log files? (see User's Manual for path/location).

Was your autopilot set to NAV? Or was it set instead to HDG? And was the Garmin GTN set to CDI or to GPS?

I had the same thing happen. Go to your configuration panel (Press and hold the SHIFT key then RIGHT-Click the top edge of GTN pop-up). The top item Master Device must be checked.

Thanks Bill, I'll try that out when I get home tonight and let you know if that fixes it.

Fppilot, I tried the switching between NAV and GPS, suspended OBS, etc.. all configurations, no difference.
