Hi Folks,

That would be me - I always run the lowest resolutions on clouds...

ASP4 / ASCA (cloud textures) / ENVTEX (fully compatible with the dynamics of ASCA) / ENVSHADE

Right now using:

ASCA - Dynamic

ENVTEX

ENVSHADE

I've used REX textures with soft clouds and PTA.

The feature in ENVTEX to integrate with ASCA is valuable as it allows a dynamic integration of various textures in combination with ENVSHADE right now it's the best it's ever looked. There is a feature in ENVTEX to use PTA shaders but right now I like what I see without one of those pre-sets.

I've noticed there seems to be two cloud crowds: those who like detailed razor sharp clouds, and those that like more puffy/not so detailed clouds (they argue real clouds are not so sharp looking).

Hi Jorge,

The new REX Texture Direct Enhanced Edition contains both types intermixed.

Thanks for the info!

I've a shameless question: Is there a discount for current REX 4 Enhanced (without Soft Clouds) customers to upgrade to the Soft Clouds version?

I use ASP4 with ASCA for the dynamic interaction. Simple and looks good enough.

Which is of course in reality what you often get I've noticed, having spent countless hours gazing out of plane windows!
