November 20, 20178 yr All this hate over Alan's livery. Nothing wrong with the big yellow lettering straight to the point I refuse to believe that the Carvair is being labelled with the same words reserved for the F-35.... November 21, 20178 yr Author Yup, it's undeniably fugly, yet in a strangely compelling way; the aeroplane itself was a fairly inventive solution to a problem. As far as the sim goes, it's actually very practical to fly in Air Hauler, with a range of over 4,000 miles carrying around 16,000lbs of cargo. I usually spend a long time getting it up past 20,000 feet for trips in Air Hauler and so managing the engines is fun, and at about 250 knots cruise it can make for some pretty long flights in terms of hours in the air, but it does a great job of linking up my triangle of cargo operation bases in the UK, France and Russia.
