F1 to RXP GTN Gauge ready

Featured Replies

I know, it's just a "quickfix" but according to Ryan all should work. And It is only the middle mouse button not working for me, even when using Ryan's own files directly in my own sim.

I will of course also ask the producer to implement native functionality 🙂

Anyone had any joy getting this working with Justflight's new high quality GA range? It just doesn't wanna play ball with my TB-20 and I can't fathom why!

I've got the XML installed to D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\JF_Socata_TB20\panel\rxpGTN\f1vc.xml

and in the panel.cfg as:

Quote

[Vcockpit01]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=512,512
visible=1
pixel_size=512,512
texture=$airradar

//gauge00=JFStormWX\JFStormWX!JFStormWX,  0,0,512,512

gauge01=JF_TB20!SystemWatch, 0,0,1,1
gauge02=jf_sound!jf_sound,  0,1,1,1
//gauge03=JF_TB20!JF_TB20,  0,1,1,1
gauge04=TB20Custom!Control_Init, 0,0,1,1
gauge05=rxpGTN!f1vc,0,0,1,1

I tried different 8s and 0s in the the XML but makes no difference. Is it because I don't have the RXP managed windows in my panel cfg?

EDIT, fixed it! Thanks to @BillS511 I realised I had to make an edit to RealityXP.GTN.ini in the aircraft's folder, you must find UseSimGpsCmds and set it to true. Now it works 🙂

For info: this setting is found in the Settings Panel as "Gauge Options | Advanced Settings | Use Simulator GPS Commands"

Bit of a silly question: how'd I get to the gauge options you referred? Can't find it in start menu or in simulator, I just had the tool to make add the GTN to the panel cfg
