There is no such thing as CRJ 600. Which developer? My mistake I meant CRJ700/900 and I got it from Just Flight here is the link https://www.justflight.com/product/crj-700-900-x The FMS is dated August 2017. I do not get a nav data out of date with it but who knows. I noticed that the B737NX page does not specify what date is used on the FMS As for the other product I could be wrong I know it was a B737 not sure about the NGX the problem with that was you had to use SAFE MODE to install it but it did have a fully functioning FMS I think that it was for FS2009 as well but not sure. I had a Captain SIM B727 that would no longer install at all because Microsoft removed the services from Windows 10 because they were so old. They were nice enough to send me a different package but the same aircraft. Edited December 27, 20178 yr by Gary M Buska spelling Gary M Buska

As I stated it is what it is and it is not that big of a deal. I was just disappointed. If I had known that the AIRC cycle had changed I would have waited to have bought this product. I would think that PMDG would at least update there installers once a year. I will purchase a 30 day license form Navigraph. But the crazy thing is I also purchased a CRJ600/700 from just flight and the Airc cycle on that was the latest cycle and this was bought before the B737. I guess it is up to each company as to how often to update things of this nature. I never intended to act that this was not a good product as I absolutely love it. Like I said I was just disappointed next time i will pay closer attention as to what cycle is included so you will buy a 30 day license from navigraph and after a month it will be out of date again and you will get the message again in the fms I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
December 28, 20178 yr From page 43-44 of the Introduction Manual: I get a NAV DATA OUT OF DATE message on the CDU: The navigation data included with the PMDG 737NGX is provided by Navigraph and up to date at the time of original release. (early August 2011, the AIRAC 0811 cycle) After this cycle expires in mid-September 2011, you will have to upgrade for a small fee if you wish to maintain up to date real world navigation data. This data can be purchased here: http://www.navigraph.com/FmsData.aspx If you don’t care about having current data and just want to remove the NAV DATA OUT OF DATE message, you can open up the file fmc_ident.txt, located at <P3D root folder>\PMDG\NAVDATA and edit the third line - OpProgram= JUL28AUG24/11 - to read a different date range that will not trigger the message. If you simply want to not see the message again or if you buy a one time, monthly or annual subscription to Navigraph and it expires, just follow the suggestion in the last paragraph and you won't see the message again. December 28, 20178 yr The nav database that comes with the Aerosoft CRJ is the one that was current when the aircraft was first released - Aug 2017. The “NAV DATA OUT OF DATE” function in the FMS is not emulated in the Aerosoft CRJ, so you will never see that message, but if you check the effective date of the NAV data on the FMS status page, you will see that it always shows August of 2017... (unless you subsequently purchase an update from Navigraph or Aerosoft). Jim BarrettLicensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Avionics, Electrical & Air Data Systems Specialist. December 28, 20178 yr Author Thanks every one for the quick and honest replies. I kind of figured that was the case I am not going to let this stop me from enjoying this product. I am still going thru the training phase with the FMC I am missing something some where as I am not able to arm Vnav Lnav or the auto pilot. I know it is something stupid that I am missing I plan on going thru the tutorial one step at a time .The biggest problem is that apparently there are no to FMC'S that are alike they are all similar but each model has its own little quirks. It all depends on how they were modeled. I have the Flight directors turned on and have set the IRS to NAV but I think I am missing a step some place Gary M Buska

This is a new plane. Rest in the comfort of your past knowledge, but treat the new plane as a new plane, knowing that your past knowledge can enhance (not replace) the new knowledge. This is likely the cause of your LNAV/AP issue. I've owned PMDG products since 2006ish. I've worked here since 2014. I still walk through tutorials step by step, very methodically. There's no medal in aviation for jumping into a new plane and lucking into getting things right. Kyle Rodgers
