Typical of the users at this forum. I only posted what OTHERS have said about avsim and you take it in the direction of the "bozo" club. Very professional. I keep being asked what my "agenda" is. I have laid it out time and time again. I feel that many of the users at avsim are arrogant, aggressive and self-centered. Again, I can't be the only if as you stated, my file was not the origin of this post. So two hot headed thin skinned, designers have had enough of avsim. So if we're just cry babies who are taking our toys and going home so be it. I even see a few pros here defending my stance. However you are all so blinded by you self absorption that you can't see beyond you childish comments about a "bozo club".I have yet to see one respond to my request for a file name of theirs to download. Not one. Let's test YOUR thick skin. What are you afraid of? Come on. Put up or shut up. And "beta testing" a commercial project, posting some screen shots or making a long distance phone call doesn't count. Bragging that you have been "in to flightsim since your Commodore 64" doesn't count either.

do you really think screwing with 21000+ members can be a good idea. AVSIM is the most popular FS site around. No1 else comes close. A few months ago, tom posted statistics for daily traffic to fs sites, and no one matched avsim.Do you really think what you are doing is wise? What entertainment are you getting from this? If you dont like us, do us all a favor and get out of the forums. I think that would be doing us all a favor. No one has to be here, so those that disagree with us or dislike us, have no reason to visit this website. Whats your purpose for being here by the way? Other than trying to cause nothing but ####, i see no logical reason for your presence on this forum..

Donny AKA ShalomarFly 2 ROCKS!!!This thread is more sad than anything else. But as to Tom's question, developers do and should have the right to remove their own files. As for repaints or mods, many licences for freeware stipulate permision from original author. I know one developer that had an aircraft TEMPORARILY removed because of an unforseen problem till it could be fixed. Avsim should stay on the high ground, where it has always been. My only other experience has been trying to get a manual and patches from file planet. Since I saw a suggestion to try Avsim, I have only been to it or partner sites like simvol. I apreciate the work of freeware developers as do most other people around Avsim. My conscience has been bothering me about donating to them, but I have started and plan to continue. If there are some things about a particular aircraft some people don't like, consider: Can you think of anything that has ever gotten better by talking about how GOOD it is? My experience with FS9 is very limited, mostly with Maria Noriega's Avanti. It far surpasses any default aircraft, and in gives me more of a sense of being in an Avanti than ANY other rendition of that aircraft. It even has functional mach hold which according to the review the payware version does not have. It will probably be the bird of choice for next year's race. In addition to saying I loved it, I mentioned some error messages I recieved when selecting it and some other issues. Should I really send a private e-mail to a developer about something that might just be occuring on my system? The first step is to see if anyone else has similar issues, at least in my opinion. Often issues can be resolved thru the forum and spare developers some grief, or at least narrow down the nature of a problem IF it exists. P.S. Have had more problems with planes WITHOUT autoinstallers than with. Plenty more. But maybe that's just me.Best regards, Donny:-wave

This thread makes me feel very sad. Virtually everyone who has posted here seems to be saying that this Stearman aircraft is a superb add-on, and yet you continue to be so negative about the entire AVSIM community.I don't get it. I just don't get it :-hmmm Chris Low.
