February 26, 20188 yr Betty was out shopping Saturday when her phone rang. I answered it and it was my youngest daughter. She told me UPS would be delivering the box on Monday. I asked her what box? She said, "Mom's birthday present." So I said I'll be watching for it. I can never remember these things. Which day is her birthday and how old is she going to be? I get in my car and drive to the bank and open the safe deposit box and find her birth certificate. It's Feb 25 and she's going to be 80. Next stop Albertsons to get a card and a box of candy. After she went to bed Saturday night I got out the box and signed the card and put it on the coffee table. She's aways up in the morning before I am so by the time I got up yesterday morning she's happy and gives me a kiss because I remembered.
