C90B Mod

Featured Replies

I am starting work on mods for the B200 and the C90B.  I am in need of operating manuals for the Collins EFIS-84 and the Collins APS-65H Autopilot.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bill

You may need a couple of manuals to cover the  APS-65H.  Isn't it just the computer or "brain" unit?  Believe it requires a separate front end control unit.

Hi Bill,

Thank you So Much for all your great mods, turning all these Carenado Aircraft into the the realistic counterparts they always should've been in the first place, I don't know who beta tests these these products before they roll them out, but if I didn't know better I'd swear Helen Keller must be part of the beta test crew.... speaking of which, if only there was someone that could fix their cockpit night lighting issues as it renders most of Carenado's aircraft into the Day IFR only category, they'de be positively death traps if flown at night IRL..

Anyway, I used to fly the B1900D IRL many moons ago and remember sending some info from the manuals I had to Bert Pieke as the B1900D uses the EFIS84 avionics, I remember He did a pretty good Mod to the EHSI to more realistically reflect the EFIS84 system, I know I have a copy floating around on one of my drives somewhere, but they may not be compatible with the current P3Dv4.

Perhaps you could PM Bert and see if he still has them or could perhaps modify them to current spec, I'll have a look and see if I can find the gauges and send them to you when i get a chance.

Cheers,

T

I agree with everything Toucanair has said.  Thanks for the mods, it's just a shame that Carenado/Alabeo can't fix their own products.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

And I wholeheartedly agree as well--thank you Bill for your mods! They're greatly appreciated and so is all the research and work you do to make these mods a reality.
