April 24, 20188 yr Author I think it's also important to remember that compared to the new flight sim platforms and products coming out, the NGX is actually starting to become an "old" add-on. Which is why PMDG has been heavily hinting at a brand new version coming out after they finish the 747-8. But point is that while I absolutely adore PMDG and the work that they do, I think this sound pack is an improvement. Better recording technology, more depth to the sounds, simply because there are better options available from when the NGX was first released. Not a hit on the guys at PMDG at all in my opinion. Connor Pack, United States P3Dv4, ORBX, FS2Crew, GSX, Active Sky v4 + ASCA, PMDG 737, Navigraph Charts + Data, TOPCAT, PFPX, UTLive, FSFX Packages, Flightbeam Airports.

The real 737 NG is over 20 years old and still going strong.

My point is that there are technologies today that didn’t exist when the NGX was made, so of course there will be improvements that can be done. All said though I love my NGX and fly it almost exclusively. April 25, 20188 yr I bought it and can't get used to it, seems like the volume levels are drastically reduced compared to the out of the box NGX. Jacek G. Ryzen 5800X3D | Asus RTX4090 OC | 64gb DDR4 3600 | Asus ROG Strix X570E | HX1000w | Fractal Design Torrent RGB | AOC AGON 49' Curved QHD |

April 26, 20188 yr I do think these sound good overall, but I feel like they’re missing a bass layer or something like that...not much low end rumble and the engine sounds are a bit “thin” if I could describe it that way. Maybe something is up with my setup, I do have a subwoofer. April 27, 20188 yr Just did a flight in the FSLabs A320 and my subwoofer is working fine with those sounds, definitely a lot more rumble and bass, any other thoughts around this? I believe it was posted on their Facebook page that there will be an update that will increase low frequencies for some users that are experiencing that issue.
April 27, 20188 yr From within the real cockpit you do not hear any bass sound. That we like to have it is something different. Only from within the cabin sitting behind the engines you will hear the exhaust bass rumble ; a lot when spooling up at takeiff and a little when flying... 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

I installed this pack last night and was also somewhat disappointed. The sub-bass tones are not there.

I've given up on Butt-kickers - because as amazing as they are, their amps are a pile of word not allowed. I have two Buttkicker amps fail on me in 2 years - both lasting less than 4 months each.
