I am VERY disappointed that it took so long to release V1.1.....And you still CAN'T set a default panel state. Also, the night VC lighting looks terrible. The whole aircraft becomes black.

I purchased it only after 1.1 release? What area of the aircraft you mean becomes black? Was it working better in the previous version?

Same here. I'm very tempted to go ahead and get it, since people that have it seem to quite like it, despite the stream of negative comments. On the other hand, it would probably be wiser to sit it out a little longer. Anyway the freighter expansion hasnt been released yet.

"Black"? Sounds like you're missing textures...

No it was always like that. It's not totally black but you can tell that all the sudden at sunset the whole aircraft turns a lot dark when the lights come on. I'll try to take a screenshot. PS: I have NEVER seen this with other add-on planes. 

Yes there are definitely issues with the lighting. It has to get very dark before the lighting textures will load. I think the dome light works though.

I vaguely remember something like this happening on the PMDG 747 back in FSX. I haven't flown that plane in forever though as I switched to P3D many years ago. There';d be a magical moment at which the lights would start working because in "FSX time" it had become "night"; or something along those lines. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens in P3D to some extent, but perhaps some developers did a better job of working around it then others?

I've uploaded the video to show the shaking and they are planning to fix this in a coming HF3.

They are also planning to fix another critical autopilot related bug I've reported.

I am happy with their response and looks like they are still finalizing the remaining bugs.

Thanks for posting the video, I might just wait until they fix that. Hope they can figure out what's causing it! Pressing any buttons in the VC while that shaking is going on must be annoying.

Appears Hotfix 3 is released.

The 757 Captain III Base Pack Hotfix 3 is available which includes the following new features and enhancements:

– Aircraft shaking on the ground.
– VNAV jetway waypoints speed/altitude assignment.
– Takeoff/CLB EPR decreasing.
– Panel State saving of COMM, ADF, XPNDR, Parking Brake position/values.
– Captain’s viewpoint.
– The Engine Start Selector, YD, Emergency lights switches positions for Cold And Dark panel state.
– Scratchpad BASIC STATES filename overwriting.

New features:
– P3D4.1 backward compatibility.
– Default panel state option."

Man those sound like some good fixes! Hope to hear the impressions of those that posted in this thread before 🙂

They definitely fixed my VNAV issues and so far no bouncing.

Their team deserves some credit for a fast turnaround. They actually e-mailed me a link to the beta hotfix a couple days ago but I couldn't get it to download.

From a stability point of view I think this is more solid than the QW787 right now. I still get some CTD and issues with the FMC on the 787 like waypoints getting out of order I entered them in and then CTD when I try to fix it.
