June 30, 20187 yr Since upgrading to P3dv4.3 I have not been able to use any software that resides on the remote PC, such as ActiveSkyP3D4 (updated to v4.3), etc. The error message is that the sim on client cannot be found. Sems to me that Simconnect is not working on remote in this new version, but wanted to check with networked users if they have had similar issues before I post on the P3D forums. Feedback appreciated. Other issues encountered have been: P3D hangs during start up and on various ocassions and having to use Delete Generated Files. Extremely slow loading of sceneries sometimes taking up to 4 minutes. regards Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.

Ity may be using too many resources trying over and over to connect. Also have a look at your permissions and make sure something did not change them. I had to try a couple of times to get the AS simconnect to update after loading V4.3 of the sim. Note: not networked but advise still holds. Computer still complained about the AS simconnect utility not updating. July 1, 20187 yr Both ASP4 and WideClient work fine here across the LAN with P3D v4.3 without any changes to the configurations of either host or remote machines. Make sure you install the new SDK that accompanies P3D v4.3, and you should also re-run the ASConnect_P3Dv4_Install.exe program on your host machine after installing the new P3D client and updating ASP4 to version 6753 or later. For FSUIPC/WideClient configs, you'll also need to make sure you're on FSUIPC 5.132 or later. July 1, 20187 yr Author It appears that the problem was caused by the removal of my simconnect.xml when upgrading to P3Dv4.3 - All restored and simconnect now works on networked set-up. best to all.
