September 19, 20187 yr Cessna C441 Conquest II. Very fast cruise speed, is pressurised, has a high service ceiling and has a pretty long range of about 2,500 miles. Two C441s versions are available for P3D, one which is more eye candy oriented, but has with a glass cockpit from Carenado, and one which is more realistically modeled (flight model and systems-wise) from Flysimware. Personally, I'd recommend the Flysimware one, although I do have them both. The Alabeo Diamond DA-42 doesn't quite tick all your boxes, it's very nice and it's a great aeroplane in real life, quite often used to train airline pilots, but its cruise speed is fairly low (around 190 knots if I recall correctly) and it can't get above weather since its service ceiling is only 18,000 feet. Also only has a 1,000 mile range, so there are many places it cannot get to across water. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

Are there any weather radar add ins available for V4.3? Looks like all of the ones I have found are for FSX only. Thanks for all the suggestions. The KA looks great and I may pick that up when it is released. Still, I like some of the more remote airports, and I'm particular interested in great scenery and interesting weather. In contrast, I also like flying in the Caribbean and other tropical areas, but for the same reasons - great scenery and interesting weather. With FTX Freeware, the former seems to be a new option for me, but the latter isn't quite as up to snuff as it was in FSX. Anyway, I'm looking for a GA aircraft with a glass cockpit that is quick and is appropriate for these types of flights. A Kodiak like aircraft, but twin engine and maybe smaller would be nice. Don't punish me, but eye candy and great sounds are more important than accurate systems. I want to be able to hop in and tune out the screaming toddler for an hour or so. Suggestions? Back to the OP topic. Ga flying around Alaska -Canada and Caribbean: For twins, the Seminole or the Conquest as suggested, both great planes, but also consider one of the Carenado's Aero/Turbo Commanders (I have both but prefer the S500 Shrike). They don't have glass cockpits but with GTN 750 integration, Bert's Autopilot Fixes, the Cleanup MOD and a good weather radar they are unsurpassed for those kind of places and weather. Also the singles Quest Kodiak by Lionheart with Bert's GTN750 and AP Fixes (it is its natural habitat and turboprop) or the RealAir Scout (if you have it, slow and tricky) are also quite capable. One of my favorites If I'm not going to muddy places is the lovely Bonanza A36 (Paid Version with Aspen EFD1000 +Bert's fixes and F1GNS OF F1GTN's) Scenery is most important (eye candy), You will need ORBX Southern Alaskan (or UTX Alaska) , Pacific Fjords, Tongass Fjords and Pacific Northwest.. If You really want to explore small airfields and or get into Bush flying and Float Planes then RTMM Misty Moorings Free Scenery is a must.. All those planes and Scenery work just fine in P3D V4.3 WARNING You might never go back to flying buses. Note: I used to fly only buses (many years), until i tried the beta from the now defunct MS Flight (IMO the best flying model ever). Anyway since then, I have not touched a "big" plane and 99.9% of my flying is in Northwest Pacific-Canada-Alaska and the Caribbean (Using UTX Caribbean, Tropical Sim, Aerosoft, Fly Tampa and other airports on top of ORBX/FTX stuff Global). For weather I prefer Active Sky for P3dV4. Cheers. Ramón Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

I have the REX/MilVis radar, and it is supposed to work on P3D v4.3 but it has some bugs (In my case if I change planes or reload the plane P3D crashes to desktop) so I'm not using it until a fix is found. In the meantime I'm using the Active Sky gauge. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

One of the things I didn't realize is that the Kodiak is V4 compatible now. I had it in FSX, so I emailed Lionheart for the new key/download. I have always liked the Aero/Turbo Commanders and fley them in FSX/FS9 (freeware version). Still, I think the C441 may be the best bet due to range and speed. Since I installed the FTX Global Airport Pack, I have been wanting to explore new places. In the past, I have liked flying a couple different types of flights. Alabeo Seminole. End of discussion. Buy it. Fly It. It's a twin you can chuck the GTN 750 in - or just fly it default GPS - which is pretty good. (You will downgrade to an old knackered Cessna C150 - with tundra tyres eventually) - but that will get you started on the whole - low and slow - thing. See you in the high places. I fly the NGX and 777 for a VA but when I think I'm forgetting how to fly an aircraft and simply becoming a child of the magenta line - I know it's high time to get back to basics and go flying the stuff with the noisy spinning bits just a foot or so in front of you. Believe it or not - it WILL improve your hand-flying of the big 400 tonne bits of metal too. Ask me how I know? - over 2500 hours in the sim - and I fly real world too. Blue Skies. Yup, that's the one (Alabeo is basically Carenado in all but name). If you prefer eye candy, here's the Alabeo one in front of the Flysimware one so you can compare the looks of them: Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

Yes, the Roland ASN 64-bit radar gauge. I have retrofitted it in a couple of aircraft. As for twins, I presently greatly enjoy the MilViz Cessna 310R.
