February 8, 20197 yr If not using something like FSUIPC, as long as Windows can see the buttons I assume you could use the sim's own 'Buttons and/or Keys' assignment facility (under Options\Settings\Controls, etc) to assign a particular yoke button to a listed sim function. Al But how does Windows describe the yoke? Without a driver would it have a name? FSUIPC5.ini shows the Windows name of each device. How does it get described as Fulcrum Yoke? A driver is required, surely. Ray (Cheshire, England). Ray, I think the yoke's USB interface identifies itself (serial #, type of device, manufacturer, etc) and this information is used by the computer's generic USB driver to uniquely identify the device. For example, I put a Leo Bodnar USB board in the Saitek yoke to handle the pitch and role functions without a 'dead zone', and it get's listed in the sim keys and buttons setup along with the Saitek yoke and rudder pedals as the BU0836A Interface. FSUIPC5 identifies it the same way. It has been a while, but I don't recall installing any type of driver for this board. It's the USB Plug and Play idea. Al Edited February 8, 20197 yr by ark

October 2, 20196 yr Author Moderator Fulcrum have just posted news on Facebook about their new yoke which will be available soon. They're at the show at Cosford this weekend. Just twelve months since the 3D printed version was demonstrated and the finished product looks very nice indeed. http://www.fulcrumsim.com/products/ Ray (Cheshire, England). October 2, 20196 yr Author Moderator @MarkDH, Chris was looking around the 400-500 GBP mark. I would imagine (and hope) it won't be too far away from that. VAT to be added too of course. October 2, 20196 yr Commercial Member Thanks for posting Ray. Price will be around that including vat. Also price is NOT always an indication of quality.... Just because we are cheaper than some does not mean we are inferior. In many areas there is nobody doing what we do in yoke specs. The genesis for this years ago was to make a better yoke for me that didn't have the flaws that others did. It is in daily use by me when I have time to SIM which is obviously less often now. Releasing this to an affordable price but without compromise in feel, range of motion or quality hasn't been easy but I always wanted to do this without it becoming another thousand pound controller (I realise that affordable is a relative term!). Im confident that we have covered pretty much all of the shopping list of requirements from ourselves and the community. Still a way to go but we are getting there. Anyway I'll concentrate on getting us to market and hopefully the reviews will speak for themselves. I'm here and we are on Facebook and Twitter for any questions so feel free to contact us there or PM me. Price and availability are tbc but we want it out before Christmas. Now I've probably jinxed it!😆 Chris Owner, Fulcrum Simulator Controls. fulcrumsim.com facebook.com/fulcrumsimulatorcontrols instagram.com/fulcrumsimulatorcontrols twitter.com/Fulcrum_SC
