Glad you are enjoying it, I thought you would. We are thrilled to finally have it in the P3D hangar. I know I personally very much enjoy whenever I can just fly it for fun like a customer.

Sadly unlikely due to time constraints, resources and development prioritization... hence the significantly reduced price across the board. As I noted earlier we did optimize quite a few small things here and there for P3D most of which will go unnoticed but improves the quality of the sim in P3Dv4.

Regarding the extra effects you never know. I wouldn't definitively rule it out. But at the present time unlikely.

Thanks! It'll probably be awhile before we ever see one of those since it is so new. It takes time for developers like us to get the necessary material, information and sufficient people to work with whichever airplane we are working on.

In the FS World things take a few years to catch up.

Look how long it took for deeply simulated A32X line for FS! Imagine the A220 and that is even more advanced.

That will be a straight port with only necessary fixes for items that broke in v4 such as lighting and TCAS. No little improvements or tweaks and like we did for the 146/ARJ upgrade.

We encountered this issue in our testing but we finally fixed it on our end for all of us on the team prior to release. Something that's different about the internal P3D Hydraulic system interaction with the 146's custom hydraulic logic.

It's under investigation on our end. If you do run into the issue, for now the temporary solution is to cycle the entire hydraulic system which should fix the locked gear problem.

I dropped a note over on your forum, but for the benefit of the folks here:

Cycling hydraulics did not work for me. What did work was using the scroll wheel to cycle the gear handle. After I did that one time, the gear responded normally to both joystick and keyboard commands, even if I quit P3D and re-launched. So that's very weird! Hopefully that provides some datapoints you can use. Really enjoying the plane - so much that I bought your 787 as well, which I am also enjoying. 🙂

That's great, I enjoyed flying the QW757 in P3D v3, so really looking forward to being able to fly it again in v4 🙂

Don't need it. Just paste it into the panel. cfg

It will work without perfect without it.

Even I have all 146's retrofitted and it works great.

Late departure on a foggy day...

Aand onto the 5° glideslope @ london city. Landing was firm (-215fpm) but otherwise a great journey. The spoiler is a heck of a brake! Put it on just after catching the GS, otherwise you'll spend a LOT of fuel.

IF you happen to have the 787 then stick this line in the P3D folder\qualitywings\ QW146.cfg :

PanelState=01_Cold_And_Dark.pnl

That should make it ready.

I got it and it's very nice. The price is quite reasonable as well, but I just wish they had done the 757 first. 

Does anybody know approximately when the 757 will be available..?? For some reason I just can't seem to get fully logged in to their forums at QW or i'd ask over there.

A decent 757 for is long overdue for P3D v4.x IMHO, and yes I know, captain sim has theirs, but it's quite pricey at about $80 for the base model, and if you get all the expansions it will run upwards of $130, and that's just not in my budget for a single AC add on.

I think many of us are awaiting the 757 as well … they said it would be $14.95 which is fabulous but if you can't wait (they didn't give a timeframe but did say 'soon') its available for $25 usd on their site

Yes, but that's compatible only with FSX, FSX SE, or P3D v2.5 and earlier, it will not work in P3D v4.4

I already have this $25 version installed in FSX SE, it's very nice, so I am eager to see it port over to v4.4, and like you said, $15 is a great price. The only other alternative at the moment is captain sim, which is $80 just for the base model, and if you add all the expansions would total like $130, which is more than i'm willing to spend on one AC add on. If QW could get this out before Xmas I would be one happy camper, but I guess we will just have to wait and see.
