Eaglesoft Premier I no go for FSX...

Featured Replies

The Eaglesoft Premier I will not be upgraded for FSX, anyone cares??? I care as this was one of my favorite birds from ES. I just wanted to know what the community thought about this.

I hope that's not a final decision. This is a neat little plane and also the fastest single pilot aircraft available in real life.

It's a rather a dated product. I'm not really suprised. They probably want to focus on their more recent and future products.

If my memory is right - and given my age that's a question mark - wasn't the Premier one of the first ESDG aircraft and wasn't it initially an FS2002 aircraft.I don't expect any of my payware which was originally FS2002 to make the transition. Especially the more accurate and complex the avionics - the more likely it won't be worth the costs to upgrade.Better to sit back and rebuild a new aircraft from the ground up next year.

Not a big deal. I just want to see their XLS.

I'm not asking for an FS2k2 product to be updated but rather for the sake of this being a very nice aircraft in the real world; shouldn't it be recreated for FSX just like all of the other ES projects are slated to be???If ES doesn

Any idea how it sold in comparison to their other aircraft?I do like it because it is so visually different - and fun to fly.

Hi everyone,We appreciate the enthusiasm regarding the Premier I, but it is based on a very early FSDS v2 model by the hands of the late Rey Lopez. Also, the model is *currently* free with purchase of the Beechjet package, but that will soon not be the case. For us to revise this project for FSX, it would require a complete rebuild, and we just have too much going on elsewhere right now, and into the foreseeable future to take this on. We realized that several people would be dissapointed, but it is just a business decision that we have made.Regards,Owen

Please Eaglesoft please make a Cessna Mustang bizzjet for FSX :)

I thought Bob Hayes did the Premier I... :-eek I remember it being a toss up as the Beechjet/Premier package was Eaglesoft's first foray into the FS development world. The original Beechjet was made using GMAX and the Premier I was made using FSDS2. FSDS2 was a better performer so consequently more ES jets were made with FSDS2. I don't remember ever hearing a thing about Rey Lopez in conjunction with Eaglesoft. The Premier I was Bob Hayes's baby for awhile there...Bob Hayes together with Bill Leaming and Bill Browning was like the 'Dream Team'. Ron Hamilton knew what he was doing and it showed right from the start with this special combo pack...

Funny... :-roll That position is old and tired... How many times are people like you going to go here just because a customer has something to say, ask an opinion from others, and/or point out bugs with a product??? I guess we all need to go and personally develop an FSX simulator because we come in here and discuss features we hope FSX will expand on (or plead with Aces to provide better tools so the community can better expand the core product). Why don't you go and use that tool yourself. You probably have something on your machine that I designed anyway and/or had a hand in. I own GMAX and developed, I work with DreamFleet beta testing, I helped produce a couple of key FeelThere products, and done projects with developers like Bill Leaming (good friend by the way). I can go on and on but what's the point...I've been around for quite some time and had my hand in more than a few things over the years. I would think I've earned the right to come in here and ask people if they want a certain product to return for the next version of Flight Simulator. People with allot less experiance have that same right... You can take the crap somewhere else as allot of us are tired of hearing it (If you can't do it yourself you have nothing to say to a developer)... :-boom

Owen, just for the record, the part about our Premier1 being built by our good friend Rey Lopez is incorrect. Rey released his freeware P1 about the time our own Bob Hayes completed the Eaglesoft Premier1.;) If memory serves, Reys P1 went to Abacus for publication??

The Beechjet400A/Premier1 was our first foray into flightsim development and you are correct about the our P1 being built by our own Bob Hayes. Rey Lopez was a good friend then and we still consider him in that way.If memory serves, Rey's freeware P1 went to Abacus for publication:-)

Owen's new, he's a DreamFleet guy... Now ask him some history about Lou's world and he'd give you more info than you'd want to know... :(
