February 3, 20197 yr In June of 1963 at The Beginning of The Cold War, A USSR Mig-21 Pilot defected to Alaska,The Aircraft was then secretly taken to Area 51 Nevada where it was Dismantled,Studied and put back together for tests to see it's strong points and weaknesses. It sat dormant in a Hanger until a Soviet Test Pilot familiar with "The Fishbed" talked to some Dept. of Defense Engineers and Flight Enthusiasts to get it back in the air,After a few years of buying parts from around the world,Restoring it's Flight Controls it has once again after a 55 year hiatus reached into The Great Blue Yonder . Thank You for viewing friends,Blue Skies to You All!!😉 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick

February 3, 20197 yr What I would do get this richly-textured (and, of course, shining so beautifully in your shots here) MIG-21 in the SIM, just to be able to fly a Milk-Run type flight...🙂...not good at the other stuff as you are...[Oh well, I know, the only answer is, Go to DCS!]... Patrick: Which version/language cockpit/controls do you use - authentic Russian maybe? I understand there are multiple choices in this (DCS) SIM. Right? Thanks.

Makes perfect sense...it must be a very steep learning curve, indeed! And, with such complex and accurate system fidelity, just to be able to take it to the sky must feel like an achievement itself. Truly an amazing study SIM...
