so whats going on with the "beta" at fileplanet? Is it actually the demo?

Great news :-jumpy.

Just a question, do we have to subscribe to get the demo? Or can we do it for free?

fileplanet is getting the beta... 12GB, the demo is a meager 800MB...

My guess is you have to subscribe if you want to be among the first to get it.

I wonder if the other date mentioned is correct. If it is, I think an OMG!!!! is due! :-)

I'd like the Demo... it'll be a small fix for this addict. I'll take it...It'll keep the buzz for a week or so.

Beta tester for SIMStarter

Great. I'm excited to wait 3 hours to download it because I'm not a subscriber to Gamespot. The exclusive beta stuff is fine, but exclusivly giving the demo to one site is reall irritating.

Hmm... what's the one thing Microsoft and Gamespot both want?Money! :(

Happy customers would be a plus, too though. Just to test it out I started to download a popular 500mb demo from gamespot. I got a whopping 30 k/b a second. Can't wait to see what it does with FSX at 800mb.

Well, if the other date mentioned is correct, it won't be too long to wait for the full product anyway.

>Well, if the other date mentioned is correct, it won't be too>long to wait for the full product anyway. I bet the demo will be done downloading October 3rd :-lol By the way tdragger can you say whether or not that date is accurate? An official confirmation/denial/PR spin would be appreciated :)
