March 9, 20197 yr Well, I hate to add to the workload but I've noticed stutters/pauses. I'll take a look at my buses. Thanks. A. I need to update this. Engine 1 & 2 are powered by Bus A and Engine 3 is Bus B. The other engine gauges are powered by C & D. Edited March 9, 20197 yr by Flysimware

Bulbs only show during day and ground effects all other times. Its normal for the cabin lights to bleed. We are trying to solve why some users like me have slow flashing and others have fast flashing in P3D only. In my case, the strobes are more rapidly flickering than flashing. Almost like there was a loose wire in a real system. That is what i am fixing. There is a small pulse and large pulse for the beacon and strobe. So this why they seemed fast. I am sinking them up now. Edited March 9, 20197 yr by Flysimware Jim BarrettLicensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Avionics, Electrical & Air Data Systems Specialist. March 9, 20197 yr Hi: I just installed 1.8A. The copilot's CDI isn't adjusting auto-coursing again. It was fixed in 1.8, but seems to be incorrect again in 1.8A. Thanks. A. March 9, 20197 yr Commercial Member Guess what your dedicated research team found out tonight doing some effect testing for the Strobe and Beacon lights using P3D. The flash rate changes based on the "Special Effect Detail" slider located in graphic settings. There are 3 speeds based on these settings. So i am re uploading V1.8A We adjusted the flash rate so that Low is 20 BPM, Medium is 40 BPM and High is 60 BPM. We updated V1.8A tonight with new effects settings. So if you like you can download again. Edited March 9, 20197 yr by Flysimware

You can go to settings in the GTN 750 and change it to Auto Course. Each time you install the F50 you have to change the settings for the GTN units. Now that you brought this up we did some testing and found the Co pilot course needle does not auto course if you turn on this feature in the GTN settings. And that was because we coded this for manual only. And so yes the pilot will work because the GPS mode uses OBS 1. So i updated the code so the copilot will become OBS 1 when in GPS mode and OBS 2 when in VLOC mode. So now the auto course will work. But there is a small downside to using this fake option. When you return back to VLOC from GPS mode the co pilot course will auto snap back to the OBS 2 heading because this course is always going to remain active. The pilot gets updated because GPS and VLOC share the same signal. So the best thing to do is just manually tune since you have the red bearing pointer showing the course. Also you can setup the GPS heading to display in the GTN 750 main screen from options. But auto course is now available. Edited March 9, 20197 yr by Flysimware

Hi: So do I need to update the FA50 again (currently using v1.8A) to get the auto-course on co-pilot side to work? W/ v1.8A I edited the GTN 750 config in the airplane folder, but it does not work on co-pilot (GTN 2) only pilot. Also, can you please explain "Also you can setup the GPS heading to display in the GTN 750 main screen from options" in a little more detail. Thanks for the support! A. The latest version of version 1.8A with the co-pilot GPS auto-course mod was uploaded to the FSW store sometime after midnight PST last 'night'. 5 hours ago, Dreamflight767 said: Also, can you please explain "Also you can setup the GPS heading to display in the GTN 750 main screen from options" in a little more detail. I think this comment is referring to the 4 User Fields in the 4 corners of the GTN map page. One of the choices you can assign to a User Field is DTK -- Desired TracK. DTK will display the magnetic track direction to the waypoint the a/c is currently heading towards according to the GPS flight plan. The red RMI - like pointer in the HSI should be pointing in that direction as well. Al

Because the copilot also will become a OBS 1 during GPS mode you just use the pilot CRS 1 knob to manually adjust both OBS1 cards. This occurred to me today and i thought we may NOT want to use this new method. But since GPS mode shares the same NAV 1 signal we might as well just use the single CRS 1 knob to set the course. 7 hours ago, Dreamflight767 said: Also, can you please explain "Also you can setup the GPS heading to display in the GTN 750 main screen from options" in a little more detail. This feature is great but for the Falcon 50 its not needed since the red pointer will auto course and show you where to manually adjust the GPS course to. So auto course really was never needed since it already has one built in.
March 10, 20197 yr Thank you for that explination. Also would like to report that I'm still having issues with the altimeter; can't set 29.90. Thanks for the help! A. March 10, 20197 yr Commercial Member It's the same reason if you look at the tooltip you will see 29.94 repeat 2 times and then again 12 click later. Ours happens to be on the 29.89 and 30.89. Seems that when they created the scale it just will not stay in sync with the actual values. So it repeats a value then skips the next value and gets back on track. So this is a sim issue not a aircraft issue.
