hi all,

scenery correction for saturday flight plan.  please disregarde kwinamas scenery from misty moorings and replace it with  " bear camp research " from main scenery page.

roger.

Even without the RTMM libraries, this airstrip shows up, complete with "goodies"..

Brilliant

Where would one find CAE5. I've looked on Orbx site and can't find it?

Steve,

I cannot answer for Roger. But there are two good simple solutions.

The first is to install one of the Return to Misty Moorings sceneries, designed for Orbx PNW.
Whistler Aerodrome CAE5. By Doug Linn.
To read the description go to the Misty Moorings scenery page here and scroll down (or search for "Whistler Aerodrome").
A direct download link is here.

A second one is also designed for Orbx PNW.
BC PNW Whistler. By Mike Mann.
This lacks the barbeque on the dockside. But it is clean and elegant.
(Mann adds a couple of heliports that we do not use. Take care to install the altitude adjustment.)
Go to FlightSim.com and look for "BC PNW Whistler".
Not sure if this download link will work.

I'll use the Misty Moorings scenery just because Roger probably has that already installed. But either one will add a nice touch to the lakeside by providing a dock with a couple of buildings.

Hope this helps,
M

Roger,

Spectacular flight - Thank you!
All the hype about Bear Camp Research proved true.. Amazing that we all made it in and found places to park!
A bummer for me since I was near tail end charlie, didn't get to see the incoming carnage. ( lol )
That leg will be on my morning coffee routine for many days to come, definitely a heart starter!
Took quite a few pics of this beautiful flight - here. Note, all the PC-6s were substituted by the excellent freeware Cessna U206G Soloy MK1. (over at that "other" site - search text="Soloy", search author="TiAr")

Thanks again for the great flight!

EDIT - This story came across the desk just now.. How Blue Angels #3 devastated the town of Kelowna, BC (not far from our route) in 1969.
