I assume the top shot is MSFS, but is the bottom sunset shot from a real plane?

My brother has Coronavirus, confirmed by testing. On 3/26 he almost didn't survive the night.  He had extreme trouble breathing and was given a steroid inhaler.  He was very weak, had nausea, and other issues that aren't pleasant.  As of this update he is feeling much better, and seems he will be fine.  Stay safe out there.  (Updated 4/6)

The one at the top is from Bing Maps and the one at the bottom from MSFS.

Plage de l'Ostriconi, Corsica, France

Funny, I knew immediatly: this has to be Corsica. Then when I found the spot in Earth View I realized that two years ago I had spent an afternoon on this very beach. Lovely spot, both in the sim and in reality!

How did you find this location?!

The above is probably the best example of this AI generated scenery from only satellite images + probably some hand made models of famous landmarks.

I had a feeling it was in Corsica so I skimmed the coastline in Earth View. Took me 5 minutes.

Burj Al Arab, I think this also shows the limitations of the AI.  For example the rooftops for the buildings in front of the Burj Al Arab.  The AI made them one grey rooftop.  I hope they add international rooftop AI... And if you look at the palm islands in the background, the MSFS pic is much flatter.  Still it looks amazing, I just hope it keeps getting better.

I googled volcanoes in South America and checked out the ones that looked similar. I was lucky, the 3rd one I checked was the correct one.

A bit harsh. No it's fine for me, more than fine! I would imagine the water will get updated at some point as I've seen different colour waters in the videos, as that will make a huge difference to places like the Caribbean and the Bahamas.

Didn't mean to sound harsh, which is why I said it looks amazing.  I also think if we just say positive things, then they may not know about some of these problems.  Or they won't know what to prioritize on.     Looks amazing, and I can't wait to fly myself.

Anaga Mountains, Tenerife, Spain

Here we have another indication that mesh resolution might not be the highest (just look at that spire). Still looks good though.
