Do you mean a custom SimConnect event?, which you could trigger from your application to ours right?

Yes, exactly. Either in the "Custom.Event", "#nnnn" or "#0xnnnn" format.

Quote

EventName

[in]  Specifies the Prepar3D event name. Refer to the Event IDs document for a list of event names (listed under String Name). If the event name includes one or more periods (such as "Custom.Event" in the example below) then they are custom events specified by the client, and will only be recognized by another client (and not Prepar3D) that has been coded to receive such events. No Prepar3D events include periods. If no entry is made for this parameter, the event is private to the client.

Alternatively enter a decimal number in the format "#nnnn" or a hex number in the format "#0xnnnn", where these numbers are in the range THIRD_PARTY_EVENT_ID_MIN and THIRD_PARTY_EVENT_ID_MAX, in order to receive events from third-party add-ons to Prepar3D.

Thank you!, I just went into the FSX SDK, and now I understand what are you refering to. This will definitivily be in the next update. A custom event to control PPT, so your application send the event to open the voice recognition's channel, and then send a "release" event to stop/close the channel.

Do you think of any other custom event you would need as a custom cockpit builder?

Thanks! I appreciate your responsiveness to such requests.

As for other events, my personal needs are covered with the PTT events and the volume Lvar that you already added.

Good day. Has this project been abandoned over MSFS? When I purchased, it was promised to be "frequently updated and enhanced" and a "long term project". Last update was almost 6 months ago. ETA for next update was middle of October. Is this another example of running off towards MSFS for the $$ and leaving all other projects behind with the hope that no one notices?

Just wonder, if not using GSX, is there any benefits of selecting the "Create ground crew as vehicles"?
