October 28, 20196 yr First, I didn't find an Orbx forum here so I am posting this in the chat forum. I've had this query on the Orbx Support for Limited User's Forum for three days now but nobody has replied. I guess we Orbx orphans aren't that important even though we still buy the scenery. Can I have both FTX Central 3 and Orbx Central installed at the same time? I have all my addons above FTX in the scenery library in alphabetical order. If I run the terrain routine in Vector in Orbx Central it jumbles them all up in the scenery library and I have to resort them in alphabetical order. If I run terrain routine in Vector in FTX Central 3 it leaves them in alphabetical order. So I would like to have them both available. FTX Central for maintenance and Orbx Central for installing new scenery. They both seem to working alright together but I am concerned that I may be screwing tings up internally. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
October 28, 20196 yr I really suggest you register at the Orbx forums and raise your query there. Edited October 28, 20196 yr by SamYeager Typo Give people power to really test their personality.
October 28, 20196 yr The short answer is- No. The nuanced answer would be to use something like Lorby P4AO to sort and organize your addons. The most recent version plays really well with Orbx Central (assuming you are running the latest version - 4.0.23) Regardless. Register at the forums. You'll get way more specific responses there. Guess that isn't an option. Edited October 28, 20196 yr by ZLA Steve Keep the blue part on top... He is registered over there and posted a question there before posting here. He is a banned member over there so his access to those forums are limited, and they have yet to respond to his question, this is the reason why he posted on here. Nothing wrong with trying something else if he isn't getting an answer from them. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
October 29, 20196 yr How many members have FTX Central AND Orbx Central for FSX? Seems to me the OP has the best situation to answer his question. October 29, 20196 yr Author Nick Cooper got back to me at the Orbx Limited User's Forum and told me it's OK to have both FTX Central and Orbx Central working at the same time. That gives me some peace of mind. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
