September 25, 200619 yr I am sticking with FS9 for a while so Airsimmer for me. I think Airsimmer will be a very nice addition to the payware community. Expect to see me on Vatsim as Jetblue 52 flying the IAE engined A320 as soon as Airsimmer releases it. Eric
September 25, 200619 yr The best way to shop intelligently is to monitor the boards in here and look for feedback once the products are released. Those are generally the best "reviews" and give you a better impression than just looking at pretty pictures and a bloated feature list.Pat
September 25, 200619 yr I'm confident in PMDG period - their product, after the obligatory SPs which seem to be industry standard, will be assuredly top notch.Airsimmer's is very interesting, big talent and big promises - bears close watching of the product and how the group handles support, which is half the purchase. They are off to a great start imho. These are the two I'm watching. The others less so, but we'll see. One way or the other I'll be doing a LOT of waiting for a least a couple releases/patch cycles.regards,MarkXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1024mb/X700pro256 Regards, Mark
September 25, 200619 yr Just for the record, ALL other sig images in this thread alone (save one) break those so-called "rules". Really makes you think why it needed to be pointed out specifically to me. Oh well.Regards,http://www.bremmekamp.com/img/misc/avsim.jpg
September 25, 200619 yr To go back to the question above who the 'one or two more' could be, I'm sure I remember a rumour going around the Peter Wilding was considering doing an Airbus. . . .does my memory serve me correctly?
September 25, 200619 yr Never mind nem, your sig is very funny and brilliant. :)Marco "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
September 25, 200619 yr I think it was PW & SimsoftworkshopSSW has gotten alot of flack for keeping tight lipped about their project, and maybe missing a few update deadlines. As of this month the SSW Airbus is still in development and that's pretty much the only official word on itEither way, lots to choose from, and lots of airbus time to be logged for all. :) Core i7 920 @ 4.2Ghz on Water, eVGA Classified x58, 12 GB Corsair Dominator GT @ 2000mhz, Radeon HD 5870 1GB, (4) 30GB OCZ Vertex SSD's in RAID 0, X-Fi Titanium Sound, Galaxy DXX 1kW PSU, Windows Vista x64, Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Speakers
September 25, 200619 yr Though I wasn't exactly fishing for compliments, I sincerely thank you nonetheless. :) Regards,http://www.bremmekamp.com/img/misc/avsim.jpg
September 25, 200619 yr Yeah I heard about this A320 a long long time ago, I hope its still in the works and progressing Alaister Kay
September 26, 200619 yr Author Yes, Peter Wilding said in a computer mag that he was involved in an Airbus project. He indicated that it would contain features never seen before in a flight sim. I don't remember the specifics, I'll try to dig it out. Curt Branch
