November 11, 20196 yr Seems no one has mentioned UT Live. I know it is not freeware, but I've been extremely pleased with what it brings to P3d. I'm never alone. Stan

November 12, 20196 yr Commercial Member There are many options Including PBR AI models. The AI world is wonderful and full of other add-on's (no just AI the models) to make you feel totally immersed in your simulation. You simply have to use enough key words: sign-oci ai traffic for p3d v4 https://www.alpha-india.net/2018/11/13/aig-ai-manager-one-click-installer/ Fr. November 12, 20196 yr Another vote for AIG here. They're simply fantastic: comprehensive, beautiful models, frequent updates, easy to use... you name it. I've relegated utLive to the sidelines but still use it for GA traffic and for the (very) few airlines that still don't have an AIG one-click installer (e.g. Korean Air). I do hope AIG will find its way to the new MSFS without too much difficulty. I find AI traffic essential to my simming experience. Walter Meier
November 12, 20196 yr Crossing my fingers the new sim has the ability to support a wide array of air and ground AI, but also really hope it optimized them in a much more efficient way out of the box compared to P3D / FSX (similar to how UT Live uses spawn limits, or a more efficient way to use LOD or instancing). If there's a way to fly into a major hub without hitting a significant drop in performance, it'll be simming nirvana for me. I'm going to be plane spotting more than flying... 😄 Edit: It would also be fantastic if the external / internal sound model could be overhauled...
November 13, 20196 yr Author And another thing, maybe it only happens on my install, but fuel trucks! Once they finally meander across the airport to where ever I'm parked, they usually just sit there a few dozen feet away, close enough I can see them clearly, but a little too far to actually provide fuel to the plane. Right now, my plane is sitting in a spot, I can see the truck just off my right wing, it's been there for a while while I was looking at something else, not moving. Come on guys, just drive a little closer, the passengers are tired of waiting.
