I hope there will be AI in the new sim, and I hope it will be much better than what we have right now.

In another window, I have P3Dv4 open.  I'm at LAX waiting for the fuel truck to finally get to me.  It's one of the busier airports in the country, IRL.  In the sim, I'm the only plane here, there's no one else as far as the eye can see (switched to top down mode and can verify this.)

Same thing when I fly into New York, no one else around.

So lonely...

You can be the the only aircraft in the entire airport and still the fuel truck arrives late? It sounds like a superb simulation of real life events to me😄

LOL I actually did use that story as a fantasy background to feel more immersed several times when flying in the desolate world of X-Plane before I got World Traffic 3.

If memory serves me well, they fly a 767 from Bangor ME to LAX. have you done the same flight ?

No I didn't, those flights are a little too long to my liking, the longest haul I sometimes do is from EHAM/EHRD to GCLP/GCTS or the other way around. That's about 3.5 to 4 hours in a 737-800 with tailwind and not too economic engine performance settings. I just used the Langoliers background story to explain the terrible empty world and I would usually also pretend to be in a real hurry 🙂

 Why are you all alone though when there's so much awesome ai thats available for free with AIG's AI Manager? As for the fuel trucks, open up your LAX ade and add in as manys vehicle spots around the field that you'd like so that you don't have to wait long for a truck to come.

You do need to register but it's by far the best AI product available and it's totally legit and free.
