December 18, 20196 yr Also MSFS 2020 down the wing so who knows. I guess its a wallet talking. I havent upgraded because of time to reinstall everything down to tweaks for a whole bunch of software in the pipeline afterwards. Might take a whole week. 20fps is low. I manage 25fps with a 4770k and a GTX1080TI but medium settings Michael Moe Michael Moe

Also try setting max AI to 25 aircraft max. Last thing is set traffic to spawn in on the ground when your below 10,000ft. I only need UI to make me feel my airports are alive and even with only 25 max aircraft I still have to hold sort and wait for traffic and even big airport were you get all 25 look ok to me and that way you FPS is minimal. I have Road traffic set to zero around cities even 5 is a FPS hit, but I Have to be more careful on my old PC. Interesting and it makes sense actually. I will give a it a shot and sure it will improve my performance as well. Thanks a lot for the hints 😊 AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display
December 18, 20196 yr Why do people quote framerates without quantifying anything? The number of variables between the PC systems of each individual user is so high that quoting framerates on your own PC is essentially meaningless without all of this extra information. Well he gave all his setting and PC spec in detail as he opened the topic, so I think we got a good idea. What more extra info do you need? David Murden. December 18, 20196 yr Totally agree. Somebody could get 985FPS(kidding) in Boston with an occasional drop to 21FPS.
