FSNavigator ?

Featured Replies

I sure hope there is something like the FS Nav like in FS9, It is so nice while on a flight having a full page map that has everything Freq on it and ILS Course Degrees and ATIS, AWOS.  Way points.  My fave is while on a flight you see an intresting looking airport you can see the name and fly into it later. Best part it dose not pause the sim while looking for all the things mentioned.

Little Nav Map fulfills the null space FS Nav occupied. It will probably be updated to work with MSFS.

It may take a while, but I expect that many popular FSX addons that are currently actively supported will be updated for MSFS.

Intel Core Ultra 9 285K | GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS Elite X ICE | RTX 5080 | 32GB DDR5 | Win 11 Pro | Acer Predator UltraWide 3440x1440 (G-Sync)

No one knows at this time but Microsoft might include something of this sort in the new MSFS. We can only guess and hope.

Thank you.

Rick

This is what I posted on another flight sim site a year and a half ago with some price updates.

“Little Navmap is awesome. This is what I use and it is free. There is a program called FSTramp that is similar to and I think is an updated version of FS Navigator. You get 20 free flights and then you pay so much to use for a period of time, 1 to 4 years ranging in price from 32.00€ for 1 year to $85.00€ for 4 years. You never really own it.”

Specs: black box thingy with spinning fans, lights and a bunch of wires that go to screens with pretty colours and a keyboard with many keys. The black box thingy also has a push button activated coffee cup holder.

I too would recommend Little NavMap. The author is a credit to the flight sim community with his excellent utility. I very much doubt Microsoft would expend that much effort into a 'moving map' utility when that area is so well served by others.

For those who fly predominantly IFR Aivlasoft's Electronic Flight Bag is superb and will, I'm sure, be made compatible with MFS20.

I used to use FSNavigator many years ago but the pricing policy of the replacement FSTramp is not one I could ever support or recommend.
