January 27, 20206 yr Hello, I ask your advise why is so bright and seems so foggy while my Lightning settings are Brightness 0.90 Bloom 9.10 Saturation 1.0 can it be shaders or something else please? https://www.flickr.com/gp/186531599@N02/q00e0K Edited 7 hours ago by georgiosgiannoukos Edited January 27, 20206 yr by georgiosgiannoukos
January 27, 20206 yr Can you change the weather to clear sky's? This looks more like the weather effecting the sim vs the brightness and saturation settings. January 27, 20206 yr Imho your bloom value is much too high. I have something like brightness 1.2, bloom 0.15 and saturation 1.03.

January 28, 20206 yr Bloom can be set to 3.0 max. A value of 9.1 can only be set in the P3D.cfg file manually and will remain till you change the value in P3D itself... 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

They're shaders/lighting modifiers that can improve very much the way your P3D looks. There's a very good set of presets that can be used by either one of the two apps mentioned before, that can be found here: https://www.nzfsim.org/ Cheers, Ed Cheers, Ed MSFS2020 Steam // Rig: Corsair Graphite 760T Full Tower - ASUS MBoard Maximus XII Hero Z490 - CPU Intel i9-10900K - 64GB RAM - MSI RTX2080 Super 8GB - [1xNVMe M.2 1TB + 1xNVMe M.2 2TB (Samsung)] + [1xSSD 1TB + 1xSSD 2TB (Crucial)] + [1xSSD 1TB (Samsung)] + 1 HDD Seagate 2TB + 1 HDD Seagate External 4TB - Monitor LG 29UC97C UWHD Curved - PSU Corsair RM1000x // Thrustmaster FCS & MS XBOX Controllers
January 28, 20206 yr A bloom value of 9.10 does not make any sense, so maybe this was a typing error? Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

Then after it looks normal then try to install add-on weather program of your choice. January 29, 20206 yr Is everything too bright, or just P3D? Just for giggles, in the NVIDIA control panel under display -> change resolution, make sure 'Output dynamic range' is set to "Full". Having it set to limited can do all sorts of wacky things on both the dark and light ends of the brightness spectrum and makes it really hard to adjust for an acceptable image using the monitor controls. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
