Finally, after nearly three months of trying, I finally managed to get access to the forums.

Um, not in my case. I was accepted in the first tranche of testers months ago. I finally today got access to the Tech Insider's forum.

As I suspected for the forum. Only for those on the alpha team. Not sure what the public forum for anyone else would even show anyway.

Although it’s not too hard to find glimpses of what IS on the forum...

Hmm I got my invite late last night and successfully downloaded and installed the alpha. However although I can log in to the insiders site, when I do so the forum still says "public forum coming soon". This is with Microsoft edge. If anyone can solve this problem or give me a link where I could get help it would be appreciated.

Try: https://forums.flightsimulator.com

This is assuming that you are logged in of course. This link works in Edge, but I just tried it in Chrome and it works as well...

...which is a good thing since I don't have MS Edge on my main development computer where I spend 90% of my time!

Here is a workaround that should fix it until they get it sorted out.

it worked for me now,

This is the first instruction which does work for me even repeatably (under Edge). Thanks for sharing the link.

Kind regards, Michael

Thanks for trying but that's not working for me. Tried going through it  three times and it still just shows me the coming soon message.

Works to SignIn into Inside. The forum is something else. It is still not open for the  public to add posts.

Solved for me. Here is what worked for me.

log out of the forums (As opposed to log out of the insider area).

Go to xBox.com 1 (log out if you are logged in) and login without the auto login.

Go to the Microsoft Flight Simulator Insider area and go to the forums.
