Hmm nothing is working for me.

 

I was reading and participating on the Alpha forums just an hour ago - now booted out and nothing I've seen in this thread is remedying it.  Bummer

What has worked for me in Edge and Firefox was to clear all cookies, temp data and passwords stored. Then closed the browsers completely and reopened the flightsimulator.com page. When asked for your email and password again, DO NOT TICK the checkbox to remember your login data because for me that broke it all again and I had to clear everything a second time.

I tried it that way because I could login with Edge and Firefox in a inPrivate session where I was asked for my credentials. So I guess something's wrong with the cookie and session data management on that site.

Can any testers have succeeded in login their forum now? I suspect it’s a failure of the whole forum system.

Hi,

I'm a tech alpha tester.

1. I can connect / log on the site flightsimulator.com,

but no option now for change DXDIAG file.

 

2. I can connect / log on the forum too,

but no section or topic or post in the forum just  this text : 

-Public forum coming soon-

and -no latest topics- , -no new topics-, no unread topics-, -no top topics-

Nothing else ! I have this problem only for 48 hours.

Similar for me - I think the whole forum thing is having a big technical issue and/or they pulled it down for now completely .

I am a Tech Insider and as of yesterday, I lost access to the forums.  I also noticed that I lost my Tech Insider badge on the forums as well.  I messaged one of the community managers, thinking it was just an issue with me.  At first, they thought the same as well, but it is looking to be more of a widespread issue.

Also, my Tech Insider profile page says that I "have selected to opt-out of the Insider Program," but I most definitly did not do that...

I think this is a new situation regarding the forum, before the update of 13.02. The forum may be disabled even for testers too. (?)  technical or NDA problems, undergraund videos in youtube? major update ?

I'm not having any problems getting into the insider forums. 

Clear your cache and cookies and try again.

Yep. Just left it. I haven't had any problems since early last week. 

Well here is a lovely twist. I was due to reinstall Win10 so i did. And the 1st thing i did after installing necessary drivers was to log into there forums. NOPE. lol

So something is going on.

 I wish we had a private forum here at Avsim to discuss the Alpha just because of this issue. 

Yes i would like that 🙂 Makes me feel uncomfortable.

I fear this would be a violation of the NDA though unless Avsim arranged an agreement with Micrisoft. Hang in boys and Try what I suggested. Others have said it works.
