A question to Alpha testers...

Featured Replies

As far as I know, there are some (many?) Alpha testers among us. I know they cannot answer many questions due to the NDA regulations... However, sometimes it's possible and a simple Yes or No, without any specific details, would be ok... So I'll try...

1/ Do you have a full access to the whole globe now? Can you choose ANY airport you wish?

2/ Do you have a full access to all aircraft, including jets?

3/ This one is related to the gameplay, so I doubt someone could answer, but... I like the X-Plane function where I can position the camera as I like and then store that position using the Num keys. Is saving views in a similar way possible in MSFS?

Thanks

Intel i7-13700K / AsRock Z790 / Crucial 32 GB DDR 5 / ASUS RTX 4080OC 16GB / BeQuiet ATX 1000W / WD m.2 NVMe 2TB (System) / WD m.2 NVMe 4 TB (MSFS) / WD HDD 10 TB / XTOP+Saitek hardware panel /  LG 34UM95 3440 x 1440  / HP Reverb 1 (2160x2160 per eye) / Win 11

Most questions have already been answered.

1.  Last I heard they had the entire world.

2. There is a limited selection of aircraft.  Apparently one was added recently.  No jets have been reported.

3.  Expect Asobo to do a lot better than to emulate XPlane.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

I think you can decipher most of your answers from the information already released.

1.) The screenshots MSFS released from alpha testers are pretty diverse location wise. I don’t know how they could allow access to only small areas considering the speed and altitude of airplanes and the seemingly randomness of released areas. Seems like the simple explanations is global access.

2.) Again, what planes are in screenshots from testers? Not a single jet. Considering the marketability of visually releasing photos of alpha testers in big jets, yet, they haven’t, I doubt they have access to the jets.

3.) Maybe the leaked video can help you here? I haven’t watched it other than skimming though but you could see how he moves about the cockpit and if it’s too your liking.

Not anymore AFAIK. These two (20min & 30min) videos have been uploaded to e.g. youtube but they were only online for a only a few days (each with more than 30000 views)
