In addition, the flight plan must be in the Garmin .gfp format. Then on the GTN 750 it's Flight Plan - Menu - Catalog - Menu - Import. If you don't have a Garmin .gfp file in the folder, you won't see the Import button. I use Little Navmap and it is File - Export Flight Plan to Garmin formats - Export Flight Plan as GFP for Reality XP GTN ..., if you have the RXP GTN that is.

And since our last 2 updates the expected full path (if not present) is printed out in the rxpGtnSim.dll.log file!

I'm struggling to find the folders and import flightplans to both the 750 and 650.

I've managed to import the user.wpt but not the flightplans, the option just doesn't come in the menu. Also, the rxpGtnSim.dll.log file does not show a path, here's what it shows:

20/05/31 20:59:57.566 03736 -    ] # rxpGtnSim64.dll version 2.5.25.0

I've tried in the C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\Databases\FPLN and many other. Yes, the files are .gfp format, and I've tried the examples in the zip folder.

Any idea?

@zazaboeing Hi, if the log file is now showing any 'missing' FPLN path, then it is not missing.

Please just make sure to navigate the route catalog menus deep enough (it is a 2 level deep function explained in the RXP user's manual and the GTN pilot's guide).

Hi Jean! Thanks for the quick answer!

I've navigated through it and still the Flight Plan Catalog show no Import function, just "grayed out" Delete All and Delete Pending options.

This might be the reason of your problem: you're running the simulator 'as-admin'. This most likely is preventing the trainer process to access the files because of user access rights.

Can you please try running the simulator as a normal user and compare?

As for the 'as-admin':

Hi Jean,

I've tried the admnistrator thing but still didn't work. What I did now, was a complete reinstall, incluiding trainer and it's now working ok. Go figure!

Hi again, sorry to bother again but,

AGAIN, this problem is occuring again. As mentioned above, all suggested steps were made, the FPLN folder is there, etc.

It worked for a while, but again, option to import it is greyed out.

Help please!

@zazaboeing Hi, can you please let me know if there is any comment in the RXP log file about the fpln folder?

Hi Jean, almost the same log as before:

And I AM NOT running the sim as admin. Even if I was, it worked before after reinstall.
