April 16, 20206 yr Hi folks, - I am not using any external program to limit frames. - Fps are set to Unlimited within P3D. ....And whatever the plane, weather, location, season... my frames are limited @30. Any idea? - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.
April 16, 20206 yr David, did you set a limit in P3D V4 or use any limiter. I have found as they share the same exe name, the profile is linked already FS PC - AMD7900X3D / MSI RTX 4090 24gb / 32gb Ram / Varjo Aero / Bravo Quadrant / Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog / Yoke / TPR Pedals UK Skytours - http://www.ukskytours.co.uk
April 16, 20206 yr Author Thanks for the info Steve but no, no limit in v4.5. So weird! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest GPU driver, got rid of this "Nvidia Experience" thing, uninstalled Nvidia Inspector, to no avail. - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.

April 16, 20206 yr I have mine set externally to 30 FPS and internally unlimited. Flying around last night it seemed like there were times the sim was capped to 20fps, the fps were firmly stuck between 19.9 and 20 FPS, no fluctuation up or down. Eventually this went away and I went back to the expected 30fps. Wrote it off as a strange one-off until I saw this thread.
