As far as I can see, you have only initiated three topics of your own, and that was months ago. All of them were questions about old flight sim web sites that have been gone for years, and various people answered your questions. What more response were you expecting?

Well, not just this topic, right?

When someone tells you that a particular web site has been gone for over ten years, or that a particular developer died 8 years ago so (obviously) his web site is no longer active, what more is there to say? In any case, your topics are months old, nobody is likely to see them when checking for new content. Got it?

Do you mean a site just automatically expires? Also, do you think others are just removed by the owners and kept private to them? But, why is no one likely to see my topics and questions when checking for new topics nor to see them in the first place and answer more questions that I have in each of my topics, also?

Yes, all web sites have a limited life span. Their registration at a maximum will expire after 10 years. If the registration doesn’t get renewed, it will disappear from the internet. A 10 year registration is quite expensive. Most web site owners register for a shorter period of time. Not only that, but the companies that host web sites charge for the service. If a company goes out of business, or the owner dies, and the hosting fees don’t get paid, the web site will be taken off line.

The web sites you were asking about all belonged to companies that went out of business years and years ago.

As far as why nobody sees your topics, keep in mind that there are hundreds of new posts to AVSIM every week. Your topics are months old, and have dropped so far down in the list that nobody is likely to run across them unless they are specifically looking for them. If you have additional questions, then start a new topic just like you did with this one.

Do you mean I have to repeat the questions and topics in order to get someone more likely to respond?

 You couldn't make this up.
