wait for a new beta if you want to fly, there is at an intermittent crash loading nav data on startup.

Or you can test the automated crash reporter

Guys - I'm coming back to XP now after another unPrepar3d experience.  Eager to try out the Vulkan stuff - 

q:  what beta version do you recommend at this point ?  I'd like decent VR and probably will purchase ActiveSky too.

The current one is b4.

You can't really "choose" what beta to have, it will roll you back to the latest stable version which is 11.41, or the latest beta avilable if you chose so in the installer.

I got 11.50 b4 up and running.  Thank you for your help.  

If anyone knows of issues while (still) running Win10 Pro ver 1809, please let me know.

please let laminar know - if you dont they cant fix it.

just dont bother with known bugs or those fixed in b4

Remember... You have to turn Vulkan on in the graphics settings page and restart before it is working.
