P3Dv5 VRAM Increased

I went to windows update on my PC and it showed 2020-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 version 1909.

So it is available for download and install without joining Microsoft insider.

That's not it.

[MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]

You can just join the Windows Insider Program but then you might get updates that are buggy.

The reports here are right. With Win 10 v2004, I gained 0.8 GB VRAM  (was 10.0 instead of 9.2).

And you are right too. With Win 10 v2004 the F1 GTN (750/650) became laggy. GTN menus and graphics reacted very slow on user input. Rolled back to 1909: All is fine again, except the current P3Dv5 issues.

9800x3D (Strix x870e-E)  -  64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30)  -  RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR  -  Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2)  -  MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

I find it funny how we now discuss VRam the same way as we did RAM/ Love it. Thanks for the tip!
