April 28, 20206 yr I can only hope that they expand the photgrammetry coverage soon. The international coverage of Bing in that field is abysmal compared to Google. I just did some research in my own country of Germany, and it is amazing how many towns already are covered in photgrammetry. Not only my own hometown, but even such relatively unknown entities like Zwickau, or historically famous places like Bamberg, or Reims in France. Nothing of that exists with the Bing dataset, which is really, really a shame.
April 29, 20206 yr Google has all the places I ever lived in in 3D. Bing does not. 😉 Edited April 29, 20206 yr by Farlis

First they want to see their own neighbourhood depicted to perfection, then the places were they went on vacation. 😉 My second item on the wishlist would therefore be more mountainranges in photogrammetry. I have seen some places I'm familiar with, only small excerpts of the wider area, and it is astonishing. No longer crude mesh that flattens every rockformation out, no every tiny needle is depicted. Unfortunately Bing Maps doesn’t have unlimited resources, hence why they have to choose wisely where they will cover with photogrammetry. We can only hope Microsoft has big plans for Bing and photogrammetry become one of the priorities. 9800X3D@H150i // Msi RTX 5090 Trio OC // 64GB DDR5 6000mhz CL30 // 2TB + 1TB Nvme Dell 27" 2127DGF - 1440p - Gsync - 165hz Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus // TCA Quadrant Airbus // TFRP T.Flight Rudder Pedals // Logitech Flight Multi Panel
April 29, 20206 yr Could someone tell me please, how I can enter to a 3D Bing maps to look at some photogrammetry cities? (what browser or application for Windows 7). Maybe a stupid question, but I'm not able to find it :-) Google photogrammetry isn't problem to find, but Bing is impossible for me :-) Thanks. Edited April 29, 20206 yr by ludekbrno
April 29, 20206 yr You can find them in the Windows apps Maps or Earth View. There you‘ll also find a list of 3d cities. i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2

I didn't make myself clear, I was only referring to the automatic tool to translate between French and English. I use Google for other languages of course.
